We were approached by their engineering department to evaluate our technology and our web guide upgrade kits as an option to upgrade their existing web guide mechanisms from different manufacturers. Initial trials were successful and led to several web guide upgrades in their lines with more to come. The upgrades involved creating drop-in actuator systems to replace the existing actuators from three different major manufacturers of web guiding systems. There was a time constraint in that the customer needed a shorter lead time even thought the project required working on the adaptation of mounting brackets to replace the actuators with actuators from Roll-2-Roll Technologies LLC. The upgrades were installed at the Roll-2-Roll Technologies facility in Stillwater, OK. Turnaround was approximately three weeks.
